The GIGAC 0–50Mbps Low-Speed Industrial Control Dual-Fiber SFP Optical Module (Series DTACS/DT-57B4) is a high-reliability fiber optic transceiver engineered for industrial automation, process control, and critical communication infrastructure. Housed in a standard SFP form factor with LC duplex connectors, it integrates VCSEL laser transmitters and PIN photodetectors to deliver noise-immune, long-distance data transmission across single-mode and multimode fiber.
Unlike conventional SFP modules designed for IT networks, this transceiver is purpose-built for industrial sites characterized by strong electromagnetic interference, mechanical vibration, extreme temperatures, and requirements for continuous uptime. The module supports adaptive data rates from DC to 50Mbps, enabling backward-compatible integration with legacy SCADA, PLC, and serial control systems.
